Encourage them to be bold! Follow their hearts! Dare to be different. For every out on a limb painter — please, let there be an out on a limb collector!
It sounds like I missed out on a wonderful event! How cool to be in the same room where Peggy Guggenheim's gallery was. I am all for being a woman artist and supporting women artists by becoming a Matron of the Arts. Hooray Hall!
Mazel Tov! Congratulations! Oh my gosh Hall! The space alone is worth the price of admission!!!! Really wishing I still lived in NYC.
YES! This is how we start a movement. Absolutely, count me in! It's high time we spotlighted the incredible talent of women artists and recognized the immense value they bring to the art world.
Women have historically been underrepresented and undervalued in many industries, including the art world. although art less "recognized" as completely inequitable. You/we are work/working in our own ways towards correcting this imbalance and fostering a more inclusive and equitable environment for female artists to thrive. It's about more than just purchasing artwork; it's about investing in the future of women in the arts and ensuring their voices are heard and celebrated. Generational understanding.
Congratulations on realizing this vision, Hall. It sounds wonderful.
