Thank you Hall. I grew up in LA, my mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother in Pasadena, and it's been awful to witness the fires from afar. May the Bunny Museum finds another incarnation and the owners recover.

It has taken me a few days to even reply as The Bunny Museum was a special place for my daughter and me when she "needed" to own a bunny. It is just a block or so is my best friend's house and up the street from our old home. I love that you chose to write about this and the importance of the legacy of the collection. Is that a part of Matronage? I collect for myself, certainly, but the thought of these pieces hanging in my children's homes someday is the magic of art collecting. I remember hearing about how the collection ebbed and shifted over the years as did the owners' tastes and feelings. I have shared this and hope that the grace in your words reaches all who need it. Thank you, Hall.
